Our electric drive system is an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional drive technology. It promises a quiet and emission-free driving experience. We integrate key components from the automotive industry into the drive technology of boats. The result is a new standard in the boating industry that enhances the aspect of safety.

  • Our engines are highly efficient, characterized by quality made in Germany and provide a very good power-to-weight ratio. The range of motors available is from 90 kW to 360 kW. They are robust, deliver maximum torque from a standstill and are, like the rest of the power components of the system, liquid cooled.

  • Each electric motor is equipped with a specially tuned motor controller and connected to the rest of the system, matching the power output to the energy available in the system to operate as safely and efficiently as possible.

  • We offer a high-voltage lithium-ion battery provided by Mercedes-Benz Energy. It is automotive tested, offers a long lifespan and reaches the highest safety standards. The battery features sealed plug connections and waterproof housing, ideal for tough conditions. Liquid cooling lets it handle high power demands, and an integrated BMS provides constant monitoring and protection. In case of fire, smoke can be safely evacuated. The battery system can be scaled to a capacity of 420 kWh.

  • Specially designed module to ensure flawless communication with any high voltage battery. Our customized Convert module, in an IP 67 housing, reliably performs this task.

  • This connection allows the system to be charged using shore power. The charger used is small, robust, and proven in the automotive world. It offers great flexibility and is compatible with all 1/3 phase AC (45Hz to 65Hz) or CCS type 2 connections.

  • The bi-directional DC/DC converter balances the high voltage and low voltage batteries, enabling the high voltage battery to charge the 24V battery and vice versa. The interconnected batteries keep the system safe and functional at all times.

  • We recommend adding additional range extender systems. These can be offered as diesel generators or fuel cell systems. We are open to discussing your needs and working together to find the right solution.

  • Our self-developed connect module is the central control unit and acts as the brain of our connected system. It is designed to constantly collect data from each component and deliver it to the display in a user-friendly way.

  • A solar system can optionally be added to the boat, with solar panels on the roof that charge the batteries with sunlight, adding an autonomous energy source. The matching solar chargers link the panels to the system, making the solar energy usable and measurable.

  • The charge controllers are available in a 48 V or 24 V version to ensure safe and efficient energy transfer from the solar panels to the low voltage batteries.

  • The 48V batteries provided by Mercedes-Benz Energy are an excellent choice for powering marine equipment. They deliver efficient and reliable power for any on-board system. Their performance is maintained even under tough conditions, making them suitable for harsh marine environments.

  • The DC/AC Converter converts the DC current from the 24V battery into AC current for the hotel supply. Now all 230V applications like TV and refrigerator can be connected here.

  • The lever is smartly connected to the drive system, ensuring efficient operation by matching power demand with available energy.

  • On Raymarine or Garmin displays, the driver can view all the system's data in an innovative way, such as the current power consumption, the predicted range, and the current route. In addition, the driver is also shown all error messages and corresponding step-by-step recommendations for actions directly.

An electric drive system consists of many components. To ensure that all components work together optimally, an efficient control element must be installed. The OG Connect Module is the central control unit and acts as the brain of our system. The individual components constantly send information to the OG Connect Module. Once there, an evaluation takes place through our innovative software. The e-boater can see those at the display:

It has been specially designed and built for use in a fully electric ship. The Omega Grey Connect Module is waterproof (IP 67). Due to the increased use of sensors, the current status of the individual components and the whole system can be recorded, processed and, if necessary, adjusted at any time. Critical system conditions can be detected earlier and countermeasures can be initiated. This ensures that the safety on a high-voltage yacht is provided at all times.

    The range varies greatly depending on the size of the battery ordered, the speed driven, the wind and weather conditions, the strength of the sun, as well as the consumption level of the household appliances. When driving calmly and in good weather, it is possible to drive the ship using only the energy of the sun.
